Critical Care RNs

As a Level I Trauma Center with a Paramedic Base Station, and Level III NICU, there’s no better place for Critical Care RNs than Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
We can offer you exposure to such specialized ICU areas as: medical, surgical, medical-cardiac, cardiothoracic-surgical, respiratory, neuro-trauma, pediatric and neonatology.
No matter where you work, you’ll have the most advanced technology right at your fingertips. Within our state-of-the-art Saperstein Critical Care Tower, there are 150 Intensive Care beds including a unique 30-bed Universal Monitored unit and onsite X-ray capabilities. In addition, computer-guided carts automatically navigate the hospital to deliver food, linens and other supplies to patient floors.

Emergency RNs

OR SERVICES — As a Level I Trauma Center with 32 operating rooms, we perform amazing surgeries every day using the most incredible technology imaginable. We are a multi-organ transplant center, where you can be part of a team performing living donor transplants, as well as liver, kidney, pancreas and heart-lung transplants.
PACU — Our recovery unit is located on four floors with a total of 34 post-op bays. Here, you can be exposed to the latest clinical procedures, technological advances, and the high acuity of the diverse patient population we serve.

Research RNs
Looking for a dramatic new challenge in your career? Translational research can offer you the kind of exciting opportunity you’ve been seeking. Join us and you can help take successful research from the laboratory into direct patient care. You’ll be able to apply everything you know and love about one-to-one patient care as part of a close-knit team that includes Physicians, Principle Investigators, Data Managers and support personnel.
It all happens at our General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), which is funded by the National Institute of Health’s Center for Research Resources. Launched in 1995, the GCRC now supports more than 50 protocols from different departments.
The Center includes an outpatient clinic that supports protocols with patients undergoing special testing, sample collection, drug/hormone administration and more. The variety of research tests embraces virtually every field, ensuring continual intellectual stimulation.
To qualify, you must have a CA RN license, BCLS, at least two years of clinical experience, and phlebotomy and IV skills. We will provide the training you need to translate your experience into an exciting new career.

Women’s Health RNs

Every day we provide skilled, compassionate nurses with the innovative technology, and advanced medical support they need to provide for the unique physical and emotional needs of women of all ages. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in comfortable and private treatment environments.
Our team in Labor and Delivery is committed to delivering quality care and transforming care at the bedside with respect, compassion and creativity. We promote your ongoing development and design advanced systems to deliver patient centered care.
In addition, our Perinatal Department cares for high-risk and low-risk patients. In this high-energy department, we deliver almost 7,000 babies a year. We have four Triage beds, eight Labor Rooms, eleven LDR rooms, three PACU beds, and three Operating Rooms to care for our laboring patients. Our Maternal Fetal Care Unit is a 12-bed inpatient observation unit for high-risk antepartum/postpartum patients. Advanced technology includes central EFM surveillance and computerized charting.
We also offer an L&D Nurse Intern Program for both new grads and experienced RNs who desire to move into this rewarding area.
